If you are considering a Disney World vacation and start doing research about where to stay and what to do, you may quickly become overwhelmed by all there is to know about Disney. That's where I come in ... As an Disney Vacation Planner I can help you every step of the way to help make the right choices for your family.

Here are a few things to consider when you first start planning --
  • Do you know which resort you'd prefer to stay at? Or do you have a preference of the category of resort - Value, Moderate, Deluxe? Each resort is unique and wonderful in it's own way. I can make some suggestions if you'd like.
  • Do you know your travel dates? Or the number of nights you'd prefer to stay?
  • There are many ticket and dining options. If you are unfamiliar with either of these I can help you decide what is best for your family.
  • A budget? Not everyone has a bottomless wallet! If you are on a budget let me know and we can work out something.
The more I know what you are thinking in terms of your vacation, the better I can help you make decisions. But keep in mind I am here to guide you - not to tell you what to do! :o)

Once we nail down exactly what you are looking for I can place the package on hold for you for 7 days without a deposit. The deposit amount to book a Disney World package is typically $200. Then you can make payments until your final payment is due at 45 days prior to travel.

Ready to get started? Let's go!

FREE Dining at Disney World - What does it mean for you?

You may have seen lots of talk about free dining at Disney World in late summer 2010. But do you really know what it mean and how much it can save your family? I thought I'd share an example to help explain the savings a bit more.

Let's say you are a family of 5 - two adults and three children (ages 11, 8 and 5). You want to travel to Disney World August 22 to August 28 and stay at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Add on the free Disney Magic Your Way Plus Dining and a 7 day base ticket and this is what you get:

Total  $2,198.60
Insurance  $133.90
Grand Total  $2,332.50

That includes 6 table service meals per person, 6 quick service meals per person, and 6 snacks per person. It's an all-inclusive vacation that is very reasonably priced! If you were to travel to Disney during this time without the FREE dining offer the same package would cost $3232.20!!! That's a savings of $900!

So there you have it - true numbers that prove Disney's FREE Dining promotion is awesome! Let me help you plan a trip!

Can you afford Disney World?

If I could I would visit Disney World every week. But like most Disney World visitors  that don't live in the Orlando area, this is not really an option. Us out of staters live vicariously through people who get to drop by whenever they feel like it.

For people who don't think they can afford a Disney trip and this is what's keeping you away, I want to set the record straight. Visiting Disney World does not have to be pricey. Sure you can spend a fortune on the frills and souvenirs and lots of extras, but you don't have to do this. And this is where a good travel agent who specializes in Disney vacations is important. I can help you find the best deal and the best options for your family.

I was searching vacation dates and pricing earlier (as I tend to do more often than I'd like to admit) and thought I'd pass along the information here as an example. This is for those of you who may not know what a Disney vacation costs.

This particular vacation is for 6 nights at the All-Star Music Resort in the month of April. It's for 2 adults, and 2 children, ages 10 and 6. The package includes 6 day base tickets so you can visit one park per day, the Magic Your Way Plus Quick-Service Dining, plus a $300 gift card to spend while you are at Walt Disney World. So in a nutshell this vacation package includes almost everything you will need during your stay. What's the price?

$2318.09

Think about it. When you rent a vacation home at the beach for a week, how much do you spend? $1800 for the house. $200 on food. Maybe another $200 to $300 on entertainment while you're there. The Disney price above includes lodging, food, and entertainment. Not to mention free transportation while on Disney property (park your car and never move it) and there's always a pool to swim in!

And this price is not alone. There are many other dates and packages that are similar and may be even better than this, depending on what you are looking for. To top it all off Disney has extended the discount on rooms through August 14, 2010. So throughout this summer you can now save at least 25% on your room rates!

What I'm getting at is this - don't be afraid to consider a Disney vacation. And when you find out the price keep it in perspective. Add up what you usually spend for a summer vacation (every penny!) and you might even find that Disney will save you money!

Don't hesitate - let me give you a free quote!
